Yahoo recently released a list of 18 jobs that let you travel the world. Writer Jen Birn explores 18 positions that feature a lot of traveling and she starts with our favorite industry, travel nursing. She writes,

Travel Nurse: Nurses are needed everywhere and several programs exist to help place nurses in positions around the globe, or even for short stays at cities across the U.S.  According to TravelNursing.org, a traveling nurse can make an annual salary of $75,000.

The TravelNursing.org citation is accurate, but it’s important to note that pay packages will largely depend on location and specialty. Cost of living will vary, so just be cognizant of that when negotiating your compensation package.

For seasoned travel nurses, they know how to get the most out of their compensation package by way of per diems and cheap housing options. The decision will vary based on the nurse.
